How do I join Gateshead Harriers and AC?

NEW MEMBERS
Call into the Harriers Office at:

Gateshead International Stadium, Neilson Road, Gateshead, NE10 0EF on a Thursday night between 6.45pm and 8pm and pick up an application form.

Please note that new members cannot join via the website as we need to allocate you a coach first, which can take up to 10 days from enquiry.

We do not expect you to join and pay Membership Subscriptions straight away as we would prefer that you ensure that you will be happy at the club first.

New members will be asked about their event preferences and ability level and a coaching group will be recommended. Our coaches liaise with each other regularly in order to find the best match for each athlete.
If you are thinking of changing coaches, please speak with your current coach and ask for advice first.

We are always in desperate need for more volunteers. Call into the club office at the stadium on a club night or contact the club Volunteers Coordinator who you will find HERE.
There are a range of different positions behind the scenes, in coaching, officiating and at our events where the club depends upon volunteers.
