Coach Development – Movement Skills
Movement Skills Part 1 – held at Gateshead Stadium. Day one of a workshop on how to develop the movement skills which will enable your athletes to move more quickly and efficiently, generate greater force and reduce the risks of injury. This workshop is for coaches working with athletes who are club level through to aspiring to international level. England Athletics will be hosting regional coach and athlete workshops covering all of the sprints and hurdles events (100m – 400m, sprint and long hurdles). The workshop format will be a 1.5hr theory based session on managing athletes in a training environment and a 1.5hr practical session putting theory into practice. Coach Development – LIRF to CIRF – Middlesbrough
The step from being a leader to becoming a coach can be a challenge. This workshop will give detailed information on the differences between the roles and the steps leaders will take as they take a coaching qualification. The workshop is for people who are currently qualified Run Leaders* who are looking to progress to the Coach in Running Fitness Course.
