It is with regret that the club announces the death of Gordon Surtees, (82). Gordon coached many of Gateshead Harrier’s athletes to International honours in the 1970/80’s and contributed greatly to the Clubs Road & X-Country National successes within that period. Calum Johnson has been selected to represent GB in the World U/23 Triathlon Championships, in Rotterdam on the 15th September, we wish him well. You can also watch Calum live on TV on Saturday 2nd September when he represesnts GB in the Mixed Tri Relay Cup in Nottingham.
