Congratulations to the athletes who competed in the Pentathlon at Jarrow on Saturday.
Anthony Dawson – V35 Bronze medallist and he also picked up his Gold medal for V35 Throws NEMAA GP series.
Oliver Douglas won the U13 Boys championship and came 2nd in the Open competition after a great 800m final run. Joshua Hickson who had been in 2nd place all afternoon unfortunately was run out of the medals in the final event – great performances from both in a very competitive field. Sophie Price placed 13th in the U13 girls competition. The majority of our very talented multi-event athletes were away representing their School Counties at the English Schools final with the result of the weekend coming from Oliver Herring representing Northumberland and just missing out on an international vest for the first time – full results of that competition are on the ESAA website.
