Coming back from a slight injury Emily Gargan picked up a silver medal in the U20 Women’s triple jump, jumping out to 12m 64. Lucy Turner was 5th in the U23 Long Jump and 8th in the final of the hurdles and Sophie Littlemore 5th in the shot putt and just outside the medals in 4th place in the U23 discus. Will Curtis had a good run to progress from the heats in his first year in the U20 age group. Unfortunately despite finishing 2nd in his semi-final he was DQd for a lane infringement so didn’t progress to the final.
