Both the Northern and Scottish Championships were held over weekend of 19/20th August with Jack Halpin taking advantage of both to achieve Gold in the Shot Putt and Silver in the Hammer at the Northerns and Gold in Javelin and Shot Putt in Scotland. An exciting 100m race for the U15 boys in Scotland left Josh McKeown with Gold and Matthew Lawson just dipped out of the medals on the line to take 4th. All the competitors are listed below:
Northern Champs
- Gold – Jack Halpin (SP); Ines Curran (1500m);
- Silver – Jack Halpin (Hammer); Megan Costello (100m); Lucy Giles (SP); Ava Taperell (800)
- Bronze – Ethan McGlen (3k)
- Joe Halpin – 4th in HJ; Lucy Giles (200m); Joe Halpin (200m); Olivia Qyinn (100m, 200m & 300m)
Scottish Champs
- Gold – Jack Halpin (Jav & SP); Josh McKeown (100m);
- Silver – Charlotte Richardson (100m); James Hutton (200m)
- Liam Eastaugh – 4th in 300m; Matthew Lawson – 4th in 100m; Mollie Kettrick – 6th in 200m
