It was a busy weekend for our multi-event athletes.   Sam Bradley, Oliver Herring, Joe Halpin, Sophie Bronze and Oliver Whellans were all competing in Bedford in the English Schools Multi-events.  Results haven’t been published yet but will be available on the Power of 10 and ESAA website shortly.

Meanwhile at Jarrow over 100 athletes competed in the North East Pentathlon.   Congratulations to all the Gateshead Harriers.  Particular mention to Hannah Scarborough in the U13 girls who set a new club record in the high jump on the way to breaking the championship record set in 2010.  Lucy Giles was just behind to take the Silver medal.  Josh McKeown won the U13 boys event.

In the U15 girls Emma Scarborough won the gold with Lily Pearce taking the silver medal.   Jason Nicholson took gold in the U17 Men with Tom Craig taking the Bronze medal.  The results are attached here North east counties Pentathlon 2015
