The club had 3 athletes who travelled down to London to compete in the above Championships in the Senior Mens race, this course is arguably the toughest in the country and Calum Johnson, Steven Medd and Kevin Connolly flew the flag for the club on the day. A mention to Calum Johnson who finished a very creditable 11th position in a strong field and augers well for future competitions.

So the final Harrier League is run on saturday 3rd March at Alnwick with the Senior Men aiming to maintain or improve their position within their League, so can we have a good turnout to ensure this happens.  A number of our young athletes have important Championships coming up in March with the Inter-Counties and English Schools, these are races which they have been working towards the whole Road & X-country season.
