Congratulations to all the athletes who competed in the National X-Country Relays – photos can be found on the Facebook page.
The Senior Men’s team of Lewis Moses, Ross Murray, Simeon Greenwood and Kevin Connolly finished in 24th position, and the 2nd North East team. Meanwhile the Junior Men (James Cripwell, Jed Marshall and Callum Simpson) also finished 2nd North East team, 27th overall.
The Senior Women were 1st North East team home and 32nd overall – Mary Ferrier, Sophie Wickham and S. Hill
In the younger age groups just David Race (11th) and Grace Varley made the long trip down to Mansfield. Well done to them both featuring in National level competition.
