The Bob Tinkler Memorial Cup

As you may be aware Bob Tinkler the founder member of Chester le street AC passed away just before last Christmas. As a fitting memorial to him; Chester le Street AC are holding an event on the 18th September 2016. This year it will be mainly track based with Long Jump, but we hope that subsequent years will include all track and field events. All track events will be electronically timed and there will be a small quad kids based event for U11 with positions 1-3 in individual events winning medals .

U13 to Seniors in all events can compete for a first placed medal, first two athletes in each event  will also score points for their club. Points will be added and averaged according to the number of athletes provided by the home club;  the club with the most points will win the Bob Tinkler Cup
