Results from the last weekend

Adam Graham set a new personal best of 15.28m in the Shot Putt to finish in 2nd position in his first England Performance at the U20 Welsh International.

Meanwhile at the England Athletics U15 and U17 Multi Events Championships Joe Halpin finished 7th overall, taking the silver medal in the Northern Championships while Samuel Bradley just missed out on a Northern Medal and finished in 12th position overall.   Oliver Herring recovered well from an early set back when he collided with a hurdle to finish in 20th position.   In the U15 girls competition Emma Scarborough and Taylor Allen finished in 26th and 30th positions overall from a record entry of 46 athletes.

Chloe Smith finished in 23rd place out of 36 and Cory Watson in 20th position.   All these athletes are in the first year in their age group so performed really well against the best in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

 

Monkton Young Athletes GP

Joe Halpin 1st year U15s & Natasha Stephenson 1st year U13  won Gold in the Young Athletes Grand Prix at Monkton, There were lots of young Gateshead Harrier Athletes that took part and many that  came away with medals & excellent performances from all.

IPC GP
Stephen Miller finised 2nd in the IPC Grand prix last week throwing the club a distance of 28m11cm
