It seems as though the whole club was out competing this weekend.

A great performance at the Harrier League in Bedewell leaves our teams in the following positions.

U13 girls and boys – top of the table, U15 girls top and U15 boys in 5th place.  U17/U20 women 1st position, U17 Men 3rd, Senior Women 2nd and Senior Men 4th.   With 2 matches to go this places us in a very good position to pick up some trophies at the end of the season.   Full results can be found https://www.harrierleague.com/results/2014-15/

In Sheffield it was the turn of the U13 and U15 athletes to compete at the Northern Indoor Championships.   With 5 gold and a silver this turned out to be a great day.  Charlotte Richardson and Joe Halpin were both double gold medallist with both setting championship best performances.   Natasha Stephenson ran a race against the clock to take gold in the 800m and Lauren Beales was just pipped on the line to take silver in the 60m Hurdles.    Emma Scarborough, Hannah Scarborough, Sam Bradley and Oliver Herring all reached finals in their events.  Results can be found on the Northern Athletics website https://www.northernathletics.org.uk/download/na-under15-indoor-full-results-2015/

Another double gold winner was Liam Collins at the Scottish National Championships.  A number of other Senior athletes were also competing there – can’t find the results yet but look out on Power of 10.
