A busy weekend for Gateshead Harriers with both a Harrier League and schools cross country.
At the Harrier league in Alnick the U11s ran well with Noah Curran leading the way in 9th place for the boys, with Williams Wells in 22nd, Oliver Ezeoke in 34th and Harry White in 46th. For the girls Anya Crowder placed 11th and Scarlett McMillan was 23rd.
No full team for the U13 boys, however Ethan McGlen finished 3rd (1st in the Fast Pack). For the girls they finished3rd team with Ines Curran (1st in the Fast Pack), Chloe Farclough and Lottie Tickner. The U15 boys team placed 2nd with Chalie McMillan in 2nd place and James Morrise, Luke Edgar and Will Dixon making up the team. The U15 girls with Trudie McCarthy (2nd), Isabelle Portier Godinho (3rd in Fast Pack), Eve Dixon and Amy Jack were placed 2nd team. The U17/U20 Women were 2nd team with Lucy McCarthy in 2nd, Rebecca Browne, Mya Crowder and Emma Dixon making up the team. The senior men – led home by Sean Hall in 3rd were 6th team and the Senior Women led in by Gillian Manford in 2nd were 3rd team.
