The Newcatle Marathon took place on a cold, wet and windy Town Moor today. After an epic battle Conrad Franks came in 2nd place at a fantastic time of 2:42:40 behind Nigel Rackham of Metros SCVAC. Roland Peacock came in 3rd in the auld gadgies race with the first two places going to British Masters. The hailstones punched through those heed vests …. it’s time we had a winter version with sleeves.
