Harrier League – Peterlee
Not the favourite course for many of our athletes and the teams were quite depleted, however some fine performances were on display. Following this match and the previous one before Xmas where we advised our younger athletes against travelling due to the stormy weather the team positions are:
U13 Boys team – currently in 4th place with Sam Emery placing 23rd in the individual Grand Prix
U13 Girls team – currently in 9th place with Emily Collingwood placing 5th in the individual Grand Prix
U15 Boys team – currently in 13th place with Matthew Das placing 46th in the individual Grand Prix
U15 Girls team – currently in 2nd place with Iona Johnstone placing 4th in the individual Grand Prix
U17 Boys team – currently in 16th place with Josh Blevins placing 40th in the individual Grand Prix
U17/U20 Womens team – currently in 4th place with Jessica Milburn placing 4th in the individual Grand Prix
SM team – currently 5th in Division 1 with Conrad Franks placing 1st in the individual Grand Prix
SW team – currently 9th in Division 1 with Bethany Curran placing 28th in the individual Grand Prix
Vet Men – David Dawson placing 4th in the individual Grand Prix
Vet Women – Jane Giles placing 2nd in the individual Grand Prix
The next cross country is Saturday 12th February which is the Sherman Cup/Davison Shield at Temple Park which is always a keenly fought competition.
The last Harrier League match is on Saturday 5th March at Alnwick Castle.
