There was a big turnout from the club in the Junior Great North Run on 8 September. Around 30 of our young runners contested the 11 – 17 age group races with several more running in the younger age group events.
The outstanding performance was Ines Curran’s runaway win in the under 15 Girls. First 10 finishes were also achieved by Chloe Wellings, Charlie McMillan, Willow Morris, Anya Crowder and Noah Curran. Many of our runners improved their best times for the course.
Well done to everybody who competed, it was a very encouraging day for the club. Apologies for the lateness of this report.
