Our young runners had an encouraging day at the Northern Championships, with two top 10 finishes and several other good performances that will have ensured inter counties selection for some of the athletes. The club was well represented in the Birtley AC relays with a total of 10 teams representing the club (6 women’s and 4 men’s). The timetable split the men’s masters race from the senior’s race whereas the women’s age groups were all in the same event making it very difficult to work out the results….
