With no championships for the Seniors in England a few hardy souls made their way North of the Border to compete in the Scottish Championships:

The U17s had a good day with a Gold Medal for Leila Thompson in the U17W Shot Putt and a Bronze Medal for Will Ainsley in the U17M Hurdles, his first race at the new height.   Katherine Bell won a Bronze Medal in the U17W 60m with Millie Buck and Millie Wilkinson running well to reach the semi-finals.  Millie Buck also reached the semi-finals of the 200m.   Hannah Buckton progressed to the final of the U17W 60m Hurdles where she placed 6th.

In the Senior Men, Ben Schofield was the highest placed with a 4th place in the final of the 400m.   Mark Collier ran both the 60m and 200m progressing to the semi-final and Lewis Robson began his preparations for the British Masters running the 200m and 400m with seasons best performances in both.

The Senior Women were represented by Philippa Ellis with a Bronze medal in the 60m Hurdles with Megan Costello competing in the 60m sprint.

Well done to all the athletes and their coaches who competed at a very competitive Championships.
