The club was well represented in the Birtley AC relays with a total of 10 teams representing the club (6 women’s and 4 men’s). The timetable split the men’s masters race from the senior’s race whereas the women’s age groups were all in the same event making it very difficult to work out the results….

Gateshead athletes were out in good numbers at the above Championships in Sheffield last weekend, with 5 x Gold, 3 x Silver and 2 x Bronze medals gained plus some close 4th places.
